Breaking news; Nigerian Second Republic President, Shehu Shagari is dead

News reaching us now reports that the first Nigerian president of the Second Republic just gave up the ghost.

Shehu Shagari was born in February 25 1925 and became president after the handover of general Olusegun Obasanjo's military government in the Second Republic from( 1979-1983).

 His death was reported after he was been rushed to the National Hospital Abuja.

News of his death was first mentioned by his grandson Bello Shagari on twitter.

Bello wrote, ”I regret announcing the death of my grandfather, H.E Alhaji Shehu Shagari, who died right now after brief illness at the National hospital, Abuja.”
