Meet Sara Baartman, the African girl with a strange large buttocks

Sara Baartman in her younger years was tricked by a man known as Alexandre(the snake)  into traveling England with him from South African to gain riches but instead she was turn into a freak and was kept by the European who had never seen what they called a Ape-like human with such a huge buttocks before.

Sara Baartmna was sold to the circuses where they constantly laugh at her and touch her private part in amazement. She was an intelligent woman and a polyglot. Sara who spoke four(4) languages; her native language, Dutch, French and English was later forced into prostitution after her fame dried up in England.

She later died of syphilis in 29 December 1815 at the age of 26. Her genital and brain was removed and kept in a museum in Paris.

Years later a South-African activist had her remains remove form Paris and return to South-Africa to give a befitting burial.
