An Abuja man who gets beaten by his wife always, complains

While so many women complain of being beaten by their husbands, a man recently has reportedly revealed why he ran away from his marriage.

 According to him, he got married when he was 25-years-old and was a victim of domestic violence by his wife who always beat him because of her big size.

He  said he could longer bear the situation anymore when his big size wife sat on top of him for almost 20 minutes which made him to faint in the process, he had to abandon the marriage.

" I got married when I was 25 years old but I couldn't stay in the marriage. The woman I got married to was way bigger than I was so she used to hit me. After a proper research personally carried out by me, on the results of several broken relationship, I was able to deduce some essential techniques to keep a lasting relationship with your heartthrob.

1. The chase.
   For the benefit of those who don't understand my title. The chasing period in a relationship is the length of time in which a guy is hunting for a girl or vice versa.

It is the best moment in a relationship as most times a guy is ready to do all he can just to get the lady he is crushing on.

During this period the guy chasing at the lady can call between intervals in a day like taking three square meal or even more than.

He can talk endlessly just make sure he pleases the lady, at this moment texts messages, gifts and going out on a date is more regular just to get his crush to say yes.

This moment is the deception period as both parties pretends to achieve their aim.

Now at this point, if you definitely don't want to get into the wrong hands,so you need no pretense,you just have to be yourself and try not to be swept away by the lots of gifts and attention you are getting during this short period.

instead take this time to under study your soon to be partner. Get to know him better, try to meet his friends, and get to know the resulting issues in his past relationships.

 As this may be the better opportunity for you to scrutinize him while you are in control and you can either say yes or no.

One important thing to note here also, try not to say yes out of pity because you will definitely going to suffer it later.

2.the real game

Funny title right, but it's the only thing that knock my head when writing this article.

I call it the real game because just moment after saying yes, gradually every thing begins to die down, from less calling and texting to less hanging out. you are now like a trophy he has won and kept on his shelf after all the struggling and competitive moments.

But not to worry it's normal. If you had study him very well before saying yes, you won't have problems at all in this stage.

There's no relationship in this world that works on auto pilot,  I guess you understand what I mean. You must have to work things out.

So after answering the big question with a yes from your crush,  the next thing to do is to start building the trust between each other because no relationship survives without this.

Learn to talk to each other about everything no matter how discomforting it is. Starting from the places you go each day, at least that will clear the suspicion incase someone else tells your partner they saw you some where.

In this period try to do away with white Lies as both of you is yet to know each better.

 Try to introduce your partner to your friends especially the ones called bestie both male and female, so that if you guys are not comfortable with any of them then they can be an adjustment and have to iron things out.
If trust is successfully buil, then you both will go a long way.


4. Attention

Hmm,  my favorite. What you love you shower with attention.
This is a very salient ingredient in a relationship that keeps it all spice up. It is important to note once you stop giving each other attention the relationship gets boring,

attention includes  getting to notice what is troubling your partner even when he/she didn't spell it out to you.

 Telling her she looks beautiful  after making a new hairstyle or wore a beautiful dress, ofcos she did all that for you to notice her,  so all you have to do is to make sure you appreciate the tiniest things about each other, it shows that you care.

Make sure you give each other pet names, create out time to go outing together especially the cinemas to see movies.and sometimes clubbing.

As I'm about wrapping up, let me leave you with the last but not the least on this list.

5. Don't be too overbearing on your partner

There's no relationship without giving or sharing, this includes affection, your comfort, time and money. Yes that is true but you don't have to make it, seems like it is a task, that your partner must meet.

Most especially asking your partner for money regularly, especially for little things you can do yourself, it makes you loose respect.

Don't be overbearing on your partner especially for ladies who always carry their family problems to their partner in order to get monetary assistance.

Men get irritated sometimes by this act even though they won't tell you, it makes them to look less at your family and I know you don't want to marry a man who wouldn't have respect for your family.

 And something estra to add here before I go, a good sex seals it all, it keeps your partner coming back for more.

On daily basis, we are faced with the hurdles of life which poses right in front of us to test our abilities.

Often times, overcoming such task comes with taking a very difficult decision and other times you just don't know what to do but you eventually scale through.

Tough time they say don't last, but not if you do nothing about it. A friend of mine once said every great achievement begins with a decision. The decision will make in life perhaps could either make or mar us.

My attention has be drawn to the various challenges people are facing in life. so I have got to understand, not to judge others from my own privilege position.

Instead I have learn to give a helping hand to others, encourage them to face their challenges, and become a better person.

When I was in school, my lecturer, Professor Solomon Nwibo would always say, one has to be resilient in life to survive.

that is to say when life throws bricks at you, one has to be strong enough to gather those bricks to build bridges that will cross you over to the next level.

The true test of a man,  is in the challenges he has face and overcome. In the struggle to make it in life one is bound to make mistakes, but the truth is that you don't dwell so much on those past mistakes.

Do not waste your time looking at what you lost,

Get over it and press forward, continue pushing till you achieve your dream.

work hard and work smart, there's nothing one can not achieve with great determination and persistence.

Michael Kearns, 33-year-old and Louise Benson 37-year-old who went on a vacation in Portugal reportedly drown to their deaths, while taking  selfies on a seaside wall. Authorities say they( the couple ) were either taking a selfie or retrieving a lost item.

The man and woman, one British and the other Australian, were found on a beach in the town of Ericeira after they reportedly fell early Tuesday.


Portuguese tabloid Correio da Manha reported the wall was about 98 feet tall.

Australian authorities said they were providing assistance to the family of the Australian citizen and coordinating with British authorities regarding the other victim.

Their bodies were initially  discovered by fishermen who thought they were asleep, and later by a beach cleaner who realized they were dead.

Ricci who is 43years of age from Brazil will be officiating in his second FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia and will be at the cynosure of all eyes when former African champions Nigeria lock horns with the Croats in Kaliningrad, starting from 8pm Nigerian time on Saturday.

He will be assisted by compatriots Emerson De Carvalho and Marcelo van Gasse who will be first and second assistant referees respectively in the Group D clash.

Federal Government to Sign budget next week after six months delay.

After six months of presenting the national budget to the joint session of the legislative house, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has finally noted that President Buhari will sign the 2018 budget next week.

 this report  was gather when Adesina spoke during a press briefing with State House correspondents on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The President’s Media Aide briefed the correspondents alongside the Ministers of Health Prof. Isaac Adewole and that of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr Okechukwu Enelamah.

 “The position on the 2018 budget is that it will be signed next week. You will be told the specific date, but one thing we are sure of is that the budget will be signed next week,’’ Femi Adesina said.

 The senate had increased the 2018 budget from N8.612 trillion as proposed by President Buhari to N9.12 trillion. The senate also increased the crude oil benchmark price pegged for the budget from 45 dollars per barrel to 50.5 dollars per barrel.

North America to host 2026 FIFA World Cup

The North America bid received 134 of the 203 votes, while Morocco polled 65 in the vote of the FIFA Congress in Moscow which saw one member vote for "neither bid."

Bagudu who spoke in an interview with journalists said all the governors were elated with the national chairmanship aspiration of the former governor of Edo State.

 Oshiomhole’s experience as a former governor, trade union leader, and democratic activist were qualities that stood him out as an aspirant that could help in realising the ideals of the APC he said

Ganduje said his presence was an indication that Oshiomhole would get the votes of all delegates from Kano State, stating that “numerically, it seems he is winning the election before the election.”

Akeredolu said there was clear indication that there wouldn’t be any contest for the position of APC national chairman.

Tinubu, who fielded questions from journalists in company of governors of Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau as well as Chief Akande, said his visit symbolised solidarity and unity of purpose to continue to build a progressive party that would carry the Nation progressively.

The Federal Government Has declared Friday 15th and monday 18th june 2018 as public holidays

Nigeria, Morocco sign new gas pipeline deal as reported by the presidency

Nigeria, Morocco Sign Agreements On Regional Gas Pipeline, Chemical Plant, Agric Training

The Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Kingdom of Morocco on Monday in Rabat, Morocco, signed three agreements, which includes a regional gas pipeline that will see Nigeria providing gas to countries in West Africa sub-region that extend to Morocco and Europe.

The signing of the agreements, witnessed by President Muhammadu Buhari and King of Morocco, His Majesty King Mohammed V1, followed a meeting between the two African leaders that focused on strengthening economic relations in gas resource development, global investments and agricultural training and management.

The feasibility study of the agreement on the pipeline, which was signed by the Group General Manager, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr Farouq Said Garba, and Mrs Amina Benkhadra, Director General of the National Office of Hydrocarbon and Mines, will be concluded by July 2018.

The construction of the pipeline will be phased and based on increasing needs of the countries crossed, and Europe, for the period of 25 years.

The Nigeria Morocco Gas Pipeline (NMGP), designed to be 5,660km long, will reduce gas flaring in Nigeria and encourage diversification of energy resources in the country, while cutting down poverty through the creation of more job opportunities.

The NMGP will further encourage utilisation of gas in the sub-region for cooking, and discourage desertification.
At the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Nigeria Sovereign Wealth Authority, Mr Uche Orji and the Chief Executive Officer of the Office of the Management of Phosphate in Morocco, Mr Mostafa Terrab signed a Memorandom of Understanding for the development of a chemical plant in Nigeria for producing ammonia and its derivatives.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh and his Moroccan counterpart, Mr Aziz Akhannouch, signed a cooperation agreement on vocational training and technical supervision, which will enhance skills on better management of agricultural outfits in Nigeria.

President Buhari, who was received by a large crowd from the airport to the Rabat Royal Palace, assured the King of Morocco of Nigeria’s full commitment to the actualisation of all the agreements signed.

  It still beat my imagination how you get to meet someone for the first time, and probably you both wink at each other or had a little chitchat and there after both heart begins to sink into one another and starts beating as one. This chemistry between human I still find difficult to explain.

 But then, there comes a time when one of the partner get overdose of this love like Beyonce song title, drunk in love and he or she feels too jealous when they see a third party getting close to their patner. they begin to get suspicious thoughts and having the fear of losing their partner to someonelse

This reason has left so many people stalking their partner, checking their phones, getting so inquisitive about every where they go, who talk to and why. For some it is so annoying that they even stop their partners from certain functions, jobs and even getting higher level of education.

It's painful that most women are victims of this heinous act and I heard some men say I can't allow my wife to work in a bank .
My advice is that all those involved in such degree of Jealousy should please stop before they die of heart attack because no level of monitoring can stop a cheating husband or wife, both partners just have to learn to trust each other.

O lord bless my husband, for the past fifteen years he has been in search of a job, please answer my prayers and wipe my tears she said. I opened my eyes to peep my mom during the prayers, seeing tears dropping from her eyes and running down her cheeks , i quickly closed it as if opening my
eyes will make her prayers not to be answered.

After the long prayer session she said kachi, you can go break your fast. I walk quickly to the kitchen to get my food already served, walk back to the parlour and started eating without saying the lord's prayer as usual.

Couldn't get the taste of the meal but all I was concerned about is to get my stomach full. so I rushed the meal like one who hasn't eaten for days and who could finish a whole cow.

After the meal my stomach protruded out, looking very big like someone suffering from kwashiorkor, I couldn't carry up my body, so I lie down on our worn out cushion and slept off.

Wake up,  wake up is what I heard accompanying with a slap on my face, get the table clean and go wash the plates my mother said.
I woke up, still feeling confuse, until I got another slap that quicken up my body and brought me back to consciousness.
