See the different reactions from the general public when they see you with the NYSC khaki

Despite the poor finishing of the NYSC khaki, wearing it has always been a thing of pride for corps members even though some of us act as if we don't enjoy the attention that comes with it.

• The kind of attention that comes with wearing the NYSC khaki are in two ways, while you get admired by the younger generation who aspires for higher academic learning so that they too can also, one day put on the brilliant NYSC khaki and enjoy the privileges that comes with it, to pride themselves as a Federal government son/daughter and explore new environment.

The reaction from the older generation seems to be indifferent which comes with pity and remorse, accompanied with so many elderly advice from them.

it seems to be a medium of venting their frustration concerning the abysmal situation of things in the country.

I have experienced this in sundry occasions, especially when I board a taxi or get into a public bus, or when i'm in a public gathering wearing complete 7/7 and the least of them all is when I'm on a motorcycle.

The conversation will alway start like this, corper corper how are you, my reply is always fine knowing their  next line of conversation.

It seems you are new in Kaduna state, my reply; yes.

Then you will hear things like; try o corper because in this country there's no sure job for graduates after service anymore except you have the connect else you just have to hustle.

Next thing you will hear is that, ..see me now I'm a graduate of so so University and I served back then in 2007 after the long search of job with no positive outcome I have start hustling on my own.

My last encounter was with a motorcyclists who told me he served in 2010 and after then he has been in search of a job.

He said that the only one he got was a teaching job of 20k per month and after working for years he finds out he was still struggling financially, he had to quit the job which resulted him becoming a motorcyclists and the honest truth is that he's more financially stable than before.




From his story, he told me he makes at least 3000 naira a day and most importantly he has the control of his time.

So far these mixed reaction gotten from the society as a corps member has made me very uncomfortable with putting the NYSC khaki on.

From all my different encounter with people, so far, I was able to deduce that there are so many Nigerian living in regrets of being a graduate, they believe that they should have spent their time in learning a skill or a business to be an entrepreneur rather than going to school when there's no guarantee of a good job.

So, my little advice for  my fellow corp members serving the Nation Nigeria, which ever state you find yourself, please it's salient you learn a skill or attempt any business plan that suit you in other to avert post NYSC trauma because life after NYSC can be really frustrating especially when you have nothing doing.

Help; I've been dating two brothers without knowing, lady cries out

I have been dating and sleeping with two brothers without knowing they are family.

I met the older brother when I was serving in Ogun state and after service I got a job in Lagos State then I met the younger as a colleague working together.




That's how I got myself involve with both brothers. I got to know they are related after I stumbled on the elder brother's Instagram page and I saw their family pictures when they were together.

Hard to wrap my head cos I never thought I'd be bleeping two brothers without me getting to place a connection.
 The problem now is, the elder one invited me last weekend to his place in Ogun state(he was retained after NYSC in Ogun state) and surprisingly he proposed to me and I didn't want to say yes or collect the ring but at the same time I also didn't want to embarrass him in front of his friends.




So he wore the ring on my finger and everyone was happy, I was happy and surprised too but the thought of both of them dating me keep moving in my head cos the younger one has been getting so serious lately too and has been talking about how we are going to make fine babies together.

I didn't say anything till I left his place on sunday and he's yet to post videos and photos from the proposal party cos I told him to keep everything low key for now.

Please how do I handle this? I'm confuse. It's not my fault.

Why my wife's death caused me to be traumatized

How trending fashion causes vaginal overheating , Dr Mbume explains.

Dr Tony Mbume, who works with CIAGIN Medical Laboratory in Lagos has advised women to stop wearing tight jeans, synthetic panties and leggings, to prevent vaginal infections.

According to him, because of recent fashion trends most Nigerian females opt to wear these synthetic pants, leggings and tight jeans without considering the health implications. Mbume disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that synthetic wears caused the vagina to ‘overheat’, which could disrupt its ecosystem.




He said that under wears made of latex, nylon or polyester and synthetic materials could trap moisture and warmth, making the vagina vulnerable to different types of infection

“Synthetic panties can cause the vagina area to overheat and this can sometimes cause burning sores, itching or irritate the sensitive skin, as well as causing blisters.

“The friction caused by walking in tight pants and jeans can irritate the skin, resulting in the formation of blisters,’’ he said.

He also revealed that the vaginal burning and itching was usually accompanied by discharge and bad odour.

He further said that such infections could be dangerous if left untreated, as it might lead to infertility due to damage of the reproductive organs.




The microbiologist, however, recommended cotton underwear, to ventilate the vagina and eliminate infections, adding that wearing cotton underwear helped to keep the vagina free of excessive moisture and allows the area to breathe.

“Use cotton menstrual pads too. Cotton absorbs excess moisture and removes buildup heat from the area. It is the only materials that can become stronger when wet and is easily sterilized after use.

“Avoid sleeping with pants at night, to keep the vagina area dry throughout the night,’’

Faith at work

A man of God was returning from his daily evangelism program when he was obstructed by a lady one evening. He tried to sway himself out but the lady insisted on holding him back then he said to the lady please madam I'm very tired as u can see and I'm just returning from evangelism can you please let go of me but still, the lady obstinate.





 So after a failed persuasion attempt by the man of God, so he decided to ask the lady what do you want?

She said pastor as you can see I'm frustrated and my marriage is on the brick of crashing because I can't bear children and I have tried all I could and also i have been to so many places yet my predicament seems not to have change.

Then the man of God responded what do you want me to do ?

 the lady replied saying, I believe if you can pray for me my problem will be over.

The man who was tired and just looking for a means to get home so that he can rest, spoke to God in his heart and asked, Lord want do you want me to do and lord said to him just pray.




So he laid his hands on the lady and made a word of a prayer saying by this time next year you will carry your own baby and then he left.

But the lady ran after him asking sir, is that all, the man of God replied yes and left.

Years later, after ministering in a church which he was invited, a lady approached him saying pastor do you recognise me, the man of God smile in amazement and decline, because he couldn't remember anything about the lady.

So the lady began to give her account to him of how she intercepted him some years back when he was returning from evangelism and so she asked him to pray for her because she couldn't bear children and her marriage was about to crash because of that.

Then the man of God nod his head in affirmation saying o... I remember, then he asked how is your marriage now then the lady replied well... This little boy standing beside me is the result of that prayer and my marriage is good now. I never had the chance to thank you sir that's why  I came waited to see you.

Saraki describes APC presidential victory as a Pyrrhic victory

The President of the Nigeria Senate, Bukola Saraki, has said that the victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the just concluded polls will be short-lived.

He gave this on Wednesday at an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.

Mr Saraki explained that contrary to the views of many Nigerians, the outcome of the March 9 presidential election was a loss to the entire country and not just the PDP.

INEC had declared President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC winner of the election.

Mr Buhari, according to the electoral body, scored 15,191,847 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the PDP garnered 11,262,978 votes to finish as runner-up.

But in his response to the declaration, the PDP candidate said the result was unacceptable to him and he would challenge it in court.
“We said it many times here, that the worst to do is to do an election that as a country Nigeria will not be proud of.




“We have done an election that no doubt anybody and even those that think they have won are ashamed of the kind of election that we did.

“I think it is a shame to the country and to those that were given that responsibility to do. They have Saturday as their last opportunity to try as much as possible to reclaim part of their embarrassment to the country.

“How can a country like Nigeria, as the speaker said, Ghana has done it, even Congo, even Zimbabwe have done elections. And we say we do elections, with seven inconclusive. We did elections before, in 2015, we did it in 2011, 1999 and after so many years, this is what we can produce.

“It is not a loss to the PDP, it is to the country. It just shows the level of desperation. I have confidence that this will be shortlived and as such let us ensure on Saturday, that these five states that are ours remain within the PDP and INEC should for once do what is right.




“We have a great future ahead and I believe we will start that on Saturday to make sure that we defend those five states that are declared inconclusive,” Mr Saraki said.

After a very touching sermon, the man of God made an alter call, so a lady came out. She was broken in her spirit that she longed for a genuine repentance so she requested to see the man of God in private for counseling.

She said, pastor I have sinned and I don't think God can forgive me, but the man of God spoke to her saying, there's no degree of sin God can't forgive, if only you confess, plead for mercy and make genuine repentance.




If u say so sir she said, so she began to give her encounter.

 I have been married for a long time now without the fruit of the womb, i have tried so many things both medical and herbal but all to no avail. So one day my husband's best friend approached me and revealed something very shocking to me.

 He told me that, the issue of my childlessness isn't my fault but that of my spouse. He said that, my spouse is impotent but cannot tell anyone because of the shame and disgrace it may bring to him.
So he convinced me into having an affair with him so that I can bear children in my marriage without my husband knowing.

Not too long I fell for this temptation, so I started sleeping with him without my husband knowing. This secret has been tearing apart and I don't know what to do, but today as you were ministering I was touched and I felt ashamed of myself so I decided to repent of my sins.

After hearing this, the man of God gave some admonition, lead her to Christ and prayed with her, he requested for the lady's address and promised to visit her, but he never visited because of his schedule and was later transferred to another place.

So he made another altar call. A man walk up to him and said pastor I was touched by your message and i really want to repent of my sins. The man of God said go on, just confess your sin and the good lord will forgive you.

 Then the man made his confession and said I have been cheating on my wife and I fear that if she knows this, she may not forgive me. The man of God said no problem, just give your life to Christ and leave the rest for him, after leading the man to Christ the man of God requested for  his address so that he can pay him a visit.




The address the man gave seems very familiar to the man of God and he noticed it was the exact address with which his last convert gave to him when he previously visited the church, so he told the brother, I think I will follow you to your house immediately after the service.

So after the church service they both left for the man's residence, on getting there the man of God suspicion was right as he met that same lady who he previously lead to Christ and then discovered she was the wife to this man who just accepted salvation.

After a warm reception given to the man of God by family, he then proceeded for the reconciliation process.

He started by saying woman, you remembered you gave your life to Christ some time ago and as a Christian we are meant to forgive those who hurts us, the woman nodded and said yes in affirmation,




then the man of God ordered the husband to go on knees before his wife and tell her exactly what he confessed to the lord in the church.

Cheating on her and sleeping around with other women and he pleaded for mercy from his wife, not too long his wife forgave him, so he stood up and they both hugged each other.

Then the man of God turned to the husband and said sir, you know you are now a Christian and as a child of God you are meant to forgive those who hurts you, the husband said yes and moved his head in agreement.

So the man of God ordered the wife to knee before her husband and he said to her, woman I suppose you remembered what you told me the last time you came out for alter call, the woman said yes I can remember vividly, then the man of God told her, now tell your husband exactly what you told me that day.




The husband was looking so surprise not knowing what was going on,when his wife started narrating how she has been sleeping with his best friend because she wanted to bear children for him.

The husband got angry and was so rage that his whole countenance changed. It took so many pleading and admonition from the man of God to calm him down and made him to forgive his wife.




So, after the man of God saw that they both have genuinely forgiven each other, he prayed for them and left.  Surprisingly just after nine months away of that encounter the wife got pregnant and gave birth for same husband who has been term impotent. Is God not wonderful.

Indeed, this is what genuine forgiveness and repentance can do. As human we should learn to forgive one another despite the depth of pain.

It all began in my year2 back in the university when I lived with my elder brother whose fiancee was  always visiting us.

Because of the proximity of my brother's place to my school, I didn't bothered living in the hostel since his house is big and very comfortable.

My brother is a very busy man and he spends most of his time travelling because of the nature of his job. My brother's fiancee is always around  and sometimes when my brother is out for his regular business trip, she complain of being lonely.





Feeling so sorry for her so I decided to be more caring towards her. i started chatting with her, listening to her when she need someone to talk to and i became very playful with her.

As time goes on, our feelings for each other grew though we acted maturely and descent.

 Whenever she's around I find it difficult to attend lectures as I prefer to spend my whole day with her.

So one afternoon, something strange happened. I was at the sitting room when I felt sleepy and so i decided to go relax on the bed. entering the room what I saw amazed me as my brother's fiancée was laying unclad on the bed. I was astonished and I took my face off trying not to lust after her, but then the picture of  her curvaceous body was already registered in my mind.

I began battling with several thoughts in mind but then again, something must kill a man. Not knowing how to make my seductive advances towards her, so I decided to  jump on her playfully and immediately she woke up, pushed me away and screamed, Emeka what is this you are doing?,
knowing what I have done, I broke out in tears and ran out to the sitting room. I was still crying my eyes out when she came out and met me at the sitting room crying also and I stood up and started apologising for my awkward behaviour.
 After about 30minutes of crying and saying sorry. she accepted my apology but the next thing she did surprised me.

She stood up,walked towards my direction  and hugged me and was cleaning the tears on my face, while I felt like a baby in the arms of his mother .
After few minutes of hugging and pampering , one thing led to another we started kissing, I wanted to resist my lips from moving but it wasn't my decision to make and my foolish brain quickly gave an impulse so i joined in the chorus. It got so intense that I can't fathom how we landed in the bedroom .

Her soft delicate skin was touching every part of my body, she moved her hands gradually from my hairy chest to my navel and she finally went south to my protruded ladle and started rubbing it slowly as the urge got more intense. she couldn't withhold her urge any longer so she ordered me to insert my ladle in her honey pot even without condom, being an obedient boy, I was placing my sticky ladle in her clean shaved vjay when we heard a knock at the door and then paused wondering who it was.






Just as if the knock at the door has brought back her senses and just immediately she started crying. I stood up to check who it was that must have stopped my fun surge and boom, it was my elder brother who has just returned back from travelling, I was so shock in my bones even getting to my marrows.

On seeing him my brother's fiancée started crying again and my brother was confuse and was asking what the problem was.

 She excused my elder brother to the bedroom, while the the door was locked and they were talking.  Not knowing what to do, i immediately I felt goosebumps as I know the shit we have both done. I tried to listen through the locked door but couldn't hear nothing then I retired to the sitting room and started crying because I know my education has I ended since it has been only my elder brother sponsoring me and paying my bills.

Few minutes later he came out to the sitting room and saw me crying and said Ebuka what happened ?
Out of a guilty conscience I started saying brother sorry, brother sorry, and he asked sorry for what? Talk, while still crying I began to explain all that has happened between me and his fiancee thinking his fiancée must have told him already, not knowing she cooked up stories to cover us up.

My brother was too shock, disappointed and broken to know this bizarre revelation that he drove me out of his place. After much pleading from family, out of pity and love he decided I should return back to his house. Though we still lived together but the guilt still remains in my heart.

Abeg it happened to a friend of mine not me and don't forget to comment for more interesting stories.

Shocking as Nigeria becomes the highest importer of gasoline from China

Nigeria became the largest buyer of gasoline from China with 51,000 mt of gasoline imported from the Asian country in January 2019.

 Isn't it strange as Nigeria who is among the  OPEC Nation with large amount of crude oil sale in a day  now depends on China for it finish product.

 latest data from General Administration showed that the first to receive gas export from China was Togo, with 50,000 mt of gasoline in April 2018.

 The China Customs border agency known as General Administration supervising inbound and outbound activities gave this information.

It is a full-ministerial-level government agency that directly reports to the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and oversees all the regional customs across the country.

Quoting records from the General Administration, S&P Global Platts, a leading global independent provider of information, benchmark prices and analytics for the energy and commodities markets, said that Nigeria was the fourth-largest buyer of Chinese gasoline in January, and also the only buyer outside Asia last month.

The global agency said the Nigerian general election in February has been a key factor in the growing gasoline flows into the country since December. PetroChina, China's largest gasoline exporter, last year had set up an office in Nigeria, which could possibly point to the first gasoline cargo landing in the African country.

The Asian trading hubs of Singapore and Malaysia remained the top destinations for Chinese gasoline — both took 86.8% of the total outflows from China amounting to 1.32 million mt, up from 75% over January-December 2018.

Oil products from Asian countries are usually sent to the hubs for blending or trading before heading to end-users. Exports to Singapore — the top destination increased by 31.2%  in January to 1.14 million mt, while outflows to Malaysia also grew 56.4% from December to 175,000 mt.

China’s gasoil exports to African countries also continue to grow, with Mozambique and South Africa climbing into the top 10 destinations in January, receiving 147,000 mt and 82,000 mt of gasoil, respectively. This compared with zero in December and a year earlier for both countries. Exports to Mozambique jumped to 316,000 mt last year from just 7,000 mt in 2017, to be among top 10 destinations for China’s gasoil export.

Meanwhile, strong low sulfur marine gasoil demand in Hong Kong continued to boost China’s gasoil exports there in January. Hong Kong was the top destination for country’s gasoil exports, GAC data showed. Exports from China to Hong Kong were up 107.5% from a year earlier to 308,000 mt, though down 26.1% from December.

Forgiveness a panacea for depression

In carrying out our day to day activities in life as humans, we are bound to err. These mistakes often leads to hurting each other emotionally, psychological or perhaps physically which has creates grief among so many in our society today.

The peace in our society is been threatened, the love in most families of the world is waxing cold, leaving them in a broken state.
Strife, hatred and bitterness are of the increase because of Unforgiviness.

It's important to note, that in living a life of love, peace of mind, devoid of so much hatred, Forgiveness is salient in achieving such.

The word forgiveness is an act of relieving of resentment towards someone or something. When you forgive, you stop being angry at someone who has offended you and more also you feel better and relax around such person.




Unforgiviness can create more pain and depression than intended. it causes heartbreaks and can lead to serious heart issues, death and even war.

Interestingly some of these grieve are past on within a family from one generation to another, and between races.

 Most black Americans (Negro) are still holding resentment against the white over the slavery of their fore fathers which happened some centuries ago.

Some people assumed forgiveness to be for the weakling and fearful but we must correct such a wrong impression because even the bravest of heart do forgive to forestall war and to maintain peace.

Even as sinners, Jesus Christ forgave us and most importantly taught Us on how to forgive our neighbors, in the scriptures.(KJV) Matthew 18:21-22 " Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven".




This is about four hundred and ninety(490) times a day, which makes me wonder and ask how possible can one offend you in such number, in a day? it's obviously not possible. This is to show that, as human we should never hold back our forgiveness, and more also to express boundless love towards each other.

 Although, for some people, it is actually difficult to forget an entire experience after forgiveness.

But when you genuinely forgive, it relieves you of the pain of wanting to seek vengeance, it urbuden your mind of grudges, it makes your heart to be as light as ever, it creates new energy around you and most importantly it gives you the key to progressive positive thinking.

Forgiveness gives room for new opportunities and a new horizon for the flow of fresh ideas and for some, it brings the long awaiting answers to their prayers.

We have a more peaceful society if we practice genuine forgiveness.
